AGUA LIMPIA Y SANEAMIENTO

Más de 844 millones de personas en el mundo viven sin acceso a un servicio de agua potable básico, y cerca del triple carecen de acceso a un servicio básico de saneamiento. Como consecuencia, aumentan la pobreza, las migraciones, las enfermedades crónicas y se produce una pérdida de horas de educación.

RAAS Group garantiza a las personas el acceso al agua y su gestión sostenible, posicionadose como un actor clave en el sector del tratamiento de aguas. Su gestión innovadora busca resolver los desafíos en torno a la escasez de recursos hídricos.

Objetivo 7

ENERGÍA LIMPIA Y NO CONTAMINANTE

1 de cada 8 personas carece aún de acceso a electricidad. Para garantizar el acceso a una energía asequible, fiable, sostenible y moderna para todos, es necesario aumentar el uso de energía renovable del 25 % actual a un 38 % en 2025.

RAAS Group se posiciona como un actor clave para abordar el crecimiento de la demanda de energía a la vez que frena los avances del calentamiento global y fomentar la transición hacia un modelo energético descarbonizado.

INDUSTRIA, INNOVACIÓN E INFRAESTRUCTURA

El crecimiento económico, el avance social y la acción contra la emergencia climática dependen en gran medida de la inversión en infraestructuras, el desarrollo industrial sostenible y el progreso tecnológico. En la actualidad, alrededor de 1.000 millones de personas viven a más de dos kilómetros de una carretera transitable, 940 millones viven sin electricidad, y 663 millones carecen de fuentes mejoradas de agua potable.

Actualmente, las ciudades representan el 3 % de la superficie del planeta y concentran a más del 50 % de la población. Una cifra que aumentará hasta el 70 % en 2050. A estos números se suma que las ciudades generan más del 80 % del producto interior bruto (PIB) mundial.

Esta actividad es la mayor contribuyente al calentamiento global. La inversión en energías renovables, en eficiencia energética y en otras tecnologías bajas en carbono seguirá siendo esencial para responder a las nuevas necesidades de la humanidad y para minimizar su impacto negativo en el entorno.

More than 844 million people in the world live without access to basic drinking water, and nearly three times as many lack access to basic sanitation. As a consequence, poverty, migration, chronic diseases and loss of educational hours increase.
